That is so true! I only have one so there are times when I do get peace and quiet when he is with me but some days, he goes all night long.
Oh, I love this post! You are so right about surrendering, but not giving yourself away. It's a fine balance and you worded your thoughts about it exquisitely.
Lately, I've been trying to read while the kids are in the bathtub (while casting a watchful eye over them at the same time, of course). I can usually get a couple of uninterrupted pages in.
This is one of my favorite posts you've done.
Love the surrendering but not giving oneself away.
And then you top it off and make me laugh ass off.
Way to go!
